Maxwell Walters

Hey there!

I am an alumni of Miami University with a B.A. in Emerging Technology in Business and Design, with a concentration in Game and Software Development and a minor in Computer Science. I've been coding for about years, with my most commonly used languages being Dart, Python, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. I also received an Amazon Alexa Student Developer Diploma in 2017.

In April 2018, I was chosen to be a photographer for the Miami University Fashion and Design club's Annual Fashion Show.

I was a Media Production Intern for the Miami University Varsity Esports team in Oxford, OH for the 2019-2020 school year. My time in this position was cut short by COVID-19 related university closure.

In February 2020, I traveled to the Procter & Gamble headquarters in Cincinnati, OH to serve as an esports consultant in the development of new advertising strategies.

I was accepted into the Miami University London Design Initiative for the summer of 2020. Due to COVID-19, this initiative was moved to a remote learning experience.

During the London Design Initiative, I worked with a multi-disciplinary team of 21 Miami students to develop a solution for the Birkdale Neuro Rehabilitation Centre in Wembley, England. Our focus was on developing a therapy tool for children aged 2-5 years old that have acute flaccid myelitis. Click here to read the final report.
